FAQ's

• How do I enter the challenge?

  Sign up through the official Tastemakers landing page:
  tastemakerschallenge.com follow @_mexicorico on Instagram, create your holiday recipe using La Costeña® products, and post your video or reel tagging @_mexicorico with the campaign hashtags: #LaCosteñaTastemakers
  

  Your entry is confirmed once @_mexicorico reposts or features it on Stories.

• Can I enter more than once?

  Yes! You may submit multiple original recipes or videos during the campaign period. Each post counts as a separate entry, as long as it meets all challenge requirements.

• When will winners be announced?

  Winners will be announced the week of December 19, 2025, on La Costeña® @_mexicorico social media channels

• What kind of prizes can I win?

  1st Place: $5,000 in gift card
  2nd Place: $1,500 in gift card
  3rd Place: $1,000 in gift card
  All winners will also be featured on La Costeña®’s Mexico Rico official social
  channels during the holiday season.

• Do I need to use a specific La Costeña® product?

  You can use any La Costeña® products, beans, chiles, salsas, sauces, etc. Just make sure it’s visible and highlighted in your recipe content. Additional Brands are not allowed in the video.

   

   

   

• What type of content should I post?

  Share a video or reel showing your creative holiday recipe, from cooking process to presentation. Keep it authentic, festive.

• Why hasn’t my video been reposted yet?

  Due to high participation, reposts may take several days. Make sure your post meets all guidelines, includes the correct tags, and your account is set to public. If all criteria are met, your content will be reviewed and reposted
  as soon as possible.

• Can I participate if I don’t live in the U.S.?

  The challenge is open to creators currently residing in the United States.
  Entries from outside the continental U.S. are not eligible for prizes but may still be featured or reposted for inspiration
  

• Do I have to be a professional chef or content creator?

  Not at all! The Season of Sabor Tastemakers Challenge celebrates creativity
  and cultural connection, whether you’re a home cook, foodie, or professional.
  All skill levels are welcome.

• How are winners selected?

  A panel of La Costeña’s® Mexicorico judges will evaluate entries based on:

  • Recipe originality and creativity
  • Use of La Costeña® products
  • Visual storytelling and presentation
  • Engagement and overall holiday spirit

• Can I collaborate with another creator or family member?

  Yes, team or duo submissions are welcome! However, only one prize will be
  awarded per winning entry, the team is responsible for splitting it as they see
  fit!

• Can I use content I’ve previously posted?

  All entries must be newly created during the campaign dates (Nov 17–Dec
  17, 2025). Previously published videos or recipes are not eligible.

• Will La Costeña® own my video or recipe if I submit it?

  No. You retain ownership of your content. However, by entering, you grant La
  Costeña® permission to feature, repost, or share your content across brand
  platforms (social, email, or web) with full credit to you.

• Can I enter if I work with other food brands?

  Yes, as long as your entry only features La Costeña® products and doesn’t promote other brands in the same post.

• How will I receive my prize?

  We’ll contact winners directly through a DM from our official @_Mexicorico account to share prize details and ask for their preferred contact info, including the best email to receive the prize.
  Prizes will be sent to the email address provided by each winner, so please double-check that it’s entered correctly and free of typos. Once we receive your email, it can’t be changed.
  All prizes will be delivered by email on December 22, 2025.
