Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the La Costeña® Creator Challenge. By entering, participants agree to comply with these rules and the decisions of Vilore Foods Company, Inc. (Vilore Foods), which are final and binding.

Contest Timeline & Structure:

Promo Period: May 1 – May 14, 2024

Challenge Start Date: May 15, 2024

Duration of Main Challenge: 60 days (May 15 – July 14, 2024)

Final Phase: July 15 – July 30, 2025

Winner Announcements:

Every 15 days, three winners will be selected.

At the end of 60 days, four first-place winners will enter the final phase.

A final grand prize winner will be selected after the 15-day final phase.

Winner Selection & Prizes:
Bi-Weekly Winners (Regular Challenge – Every 15 Days):

First Place: $1,500 in cooking or content creation equipment.

Second Place: $1,000 in equipment.

Third Place: $500 in equipment.

Final Phase (July 15 – July 30, 2024):

The four first-place winners from each round will compete for the grand prize.

Grand Prize (TBD): Either a professionally produced video or high-value content/cooking equipment.

Submission Process
1. Participants must sign up on the official landing page before posting any content.
2. Participants must create an original dish using La Costeña® products.
3. Participants must post the content on social media and tag @LaCostenaUSA.
4. A submission is officially in the running only once La Costeña® reposts the content.

Challenge Guidelines & Eligibility
Participants must be legal residents of the United States and at least 18 years old.

Only original content created by the participant is allowed; reposted or reused material will not be accepted.

Submissions must exclusively feature La Costeña® products (U.S. labeling).

Content must be family-friendly and comply with platform guidelines.

Final Phase Rules (July 15 – July 30, 2024)

The four first-place winners from each bi-weekly round will compete in the final phase.

The format for the final phase is to be determined (it could involve another challenge or a selection based on past performance).

One grand prize winner will be selected at the end of the final phase.

Additional Terms:

Vilore Foods reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at its discretion.

Participants grant Vilore Foods and its affiliates a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, distribute, and display their submissions for promotional purposes.
Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued for prizes exceeding $600 in value.

Vilore Foods is not responsible for technical failures, lost submissions, or other issues beyond its control.
This contest is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
