Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the La Costeña® Tastemakers: Season of Sabor Holiday Edition (the “Challenge”). By entering, participants agree to comply with these rules and the decisions of Vilore Foods Company, Inc. (“Vilore Foods”), which are final and binding.

Contest Timeline & Structure

Promo Period: November 17 – December 17, 2025
Winner Announcement: December 19, 2025
Prize Delivery: December 22, 2025

This Challenge consists of one single phase. All eligible entries will be reviewed during the contest period, and three winners will be selected at the end of the Challenge.

Winner Selection & Prizes

Three winners will be chosen based on creativity, presentation, use of La Costeña® products, and storytelling through their dish.

Prizes:

• First Place: $5,000 in gift cards
• Second Place: $1,500 in gift cards
• Third Place: $1,000 in gift cards

Winners will also be featured on La Costeña® México Rico official channels.

Submission Process

1. Participants must sign up through the official Capture Form before posting any content, located at: https://tastemakerschallenge.mexicorico.com/season-of-sabor
2. Participants must create an original holiday dish using La Costeña® products (U.S. labeling).
3. Participants must share their creation on Instagram, following and tagging @_mexicorico, including the hashtag #LaCostenaTastemakers.
4. A submission is officially considered valid once @_mexicorico features it on their Stories.

Challenge Guidelines & Eligibility

• Participants must be legal residents of the United States and at least 18 years old.
• Only original content created by the participant will be accepted. Reused or reposted material will be disqualified.
• All dishes must feature La Costeña® products available in the U.S.
• Content must be family-friendly and comply with all platform guidelines.
• Multiple entries are allowed, but each must be unique.

Additional Terms

• Vilore Foods reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Challenge at its discretion.
• By entering, participants grant Vilore Foods and its affiliates a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, distribute, and display their submissions for promotional purposes across all media.
• Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued for prizes exceeding $600 in value.
• Vilore Foods is not responsible for technical failures, lost submissions, or other issues beyond its control.
• This Challenge is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
